The Set-Up: A comedy in which a married guy switches bodies with his lazy best friend in order to woo his co-worker.
The Tag Line: Who says men can’t change?
The Change-Up comes from a director and writing pair who are living off the successes of two of the highest-grossing comedies of all time. David Dobkin, of Wedding Crashers and Fred Claus previously, sits in the director’s chair. The screenplay comes from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the pair that gave us The Hangover, but also Rebound, Four Christmases and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
Universal Pictures will be bringing The Change-Up to theaters on August 5th.

Hi! Thank you all for visiting. My name is Natalie and i’m the new owner of this site. I’ll be updating from now on. Keep coming back to check the latest updates and news on Leslie!
For those who were craving some more from 2007’s wacky romantic comedy Knocked Up that starred Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen as not so star-crossed lovers, will be delighted that The Wrap is confirming Judd Apatow will bring his signature humor back with a spin off comedy of sorts starring Leslie Mann & Paul Rudd. They’ll be reprising their roles as married couple Debbie (Heigl’s sister). and Pete respectively.
Moving up from supporting to lead status isn’t anything new for Paul Rudd as his star has been on the rise in recent years with lead roles in several films since Knocked Up while Leslie Mann is married to Apatow and has collaborated with her husband on many of his films.
Plot details are still unknown for the moment and no confirmation that Rogen and Heigl will reprise their roles also for any cameos but Apatow himself will be writing and directing the film with Universal Pictures scheduling production to begin later in the year in time to hit theaters June 1, 2012. Much like “16 and Pregnant” gave birth to “Teen Mom,” it seemed as though if Judd Apatow were ever to return to the world of “Knocked Up,” his hit 2007 comedy, the writer/director would continue the story with more about Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl’s characters and the child they had together.
But that’s not what’s happening — not least of all because of the messy public backbiting between Apatow and Heigl over her character, Alison. Instead, Apatow is pushing forward with an extension of that world featuring Alison’s sister, Debbie (Leslie Mann), and brother-in-law, Pete (Paul Rudd). The film will apparently tell a story separate from the one told in “Knocked Up,” a story that simply focuses on Debbie and Pete’s troubled marriage.
Still, the question remains: Will Heigl or Rogen pop up at any point in the new film? MTV News put that very question to Rogen when we caught up with him while he was promoting “Green Hornet.” (Source)
